Transparent maroon, almost more Pinot-ish. Nose of cherry cola, black pepper, eith a touch of cinnamon and vanilla. Integrated and balanced, even this young. And almost light bodied. Dark red fruit, cola, pepper... Exactly as it smells. Tannins really take over on the finish which is long and surprising considering the body. Probably won't open another bottle for at least 5 yrs but this should age well 91
