Brambly nose in the 09, surprised to see such youthful notes despite the unusually high VA on this vintage. The 12 and 13 had a lot more slate and flinty characteristics that I would attribute to the amphora and reduction. I'm a huge fan of Elisabetta, but was sadly disappointed with how this particular vintage (09) aged.
