Breakneck Creek Dry Riesling
I get hints of coconut with a salty acidic finish that make this a unique flx riesling that gets better the more you have. These guys really know how to make something special.

Dec 21st, 2020Riesling at another level for the FLX Slate minerality, brine, citrus with nice acid on the finish. Truly worth the hype.

Aug 27th, 2020Love this producer and love the single vineyard rieslings. There is an acetone type funk on the note. Steely minerality, white flowers, delightfully dry.

Sep 22nd, 2024Really surprising. I think this has seen some oak. Tastes more like Chardonnay than Riesling. Has nice weight, and texture. Really fresh. Still delish.

Nov 5th, 2021More #riesling-like. Did I prefer it because it was more familiar? Tertiary petrol aromas were noticeable on the nose. Good acidity and relatively long finish. Lemon, yellow peach, mandarins. RS 0.2.

May 16th, 2021This wine was a knockout. It might be the second best dry Riesling I’ve had from the Finger Lakes. Would pair perfectly with oysters because of the pronounced salinity. Bursting with ripe white peaches, Granny Smith apple and freshly squeezed lime juice. Would describe this wine as electric, precise and refined. Delicious.
