Young but expressive, with classic sauvage cornas character starting to show itself. No San soufres flaws at all. This is great wine and should age a decade or more with ease

Nov 17th, 2018Nose: very ripe black cherries, cassis,
ripe plums, violets, black pepper. All these flavours are cleary distinctive but not harmoniously “merged” altogether.... I perceive a “separation” of these flavours. Lack of coalescent overall.
Palate: Medium-body, not too heavy. Good tannic structure, with soft and moderate tannins. Nice
astringency, quite delicate. Nevertheless it lacks a bit of complexity and savageness experienced in other Northen Rhone ones.
Raspberries, black cherries, hints of gooseberry in the finish.

Smokey, metallic, bitter fruit. Ate with fresh bread, olives and sheep's milk cheese.
