Notes are from day 2 when wine is significantly better. Good on day 1 but also it was opened at end of night.
Floral as only Viognier can be. Honeydew melon, cantaloupe, exotic and even some honeysuckle. Palate is full and structured with undeniable freshness and great weight without being heavy. Long and lingering. Complex. Great aging potential. Awesome wine.

Oct 31st, 2022Gordon's northern Rhone tasting 9/20/16. Tropical fruits and more earth on nose and great mouth feel. Palate balanced and exotics fruit. Character of white pepper in all these wines and tension that snap it back from top much fruit. Almost creamy notes. Touch of nutmeg also typical.

Sep 21st, 2016The original Condrieu, the first winemaker and vineyard in the region. This is a delicate wine obviously made by very skilled hands, full of perfect apricot acidity and hints of subtle smoke. Generously poured by George Leleksoglou (George the Greek) with his son before a tasting of his own outstanding, small production wines.
