New vintage (2016) that crushes it. This is one of those rare Italian reds that does not need food to balance it all out. Fresh...Fruity...Youthful...Dry--it's all there. And my, what a beautiful color. (ALC 12.5%...so sensible. Best at cellar temp.)

Really nice and deep Barolo, tingly and spicy. Paired at home with some salmon and veggie soup. Would repurchase.

Very tight and acidic at first. Better after a day open and decanted. Bright cherry, grippy tannins, pair it with charcuterie and it's just fine.
