Frei Brothers
Sonoma Reserve Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel
Inky & big time red & back fruits but hot - waited a hour & still hot, drinks super soft supple w/gobs of fruit and a wee bit of spice. One dimensional - still decent quaff.

Aug 14th, 2020Pretty restrained for a Zin. It has all the expected dark berry flavors without being too intense. Well balanced and easy to drink. Not overly complex so people wanting a big zin would not like.

Jun 18th, 2019The first taste was so pleasantly smooth. It’s an easy drinking Zin.

Jun 14th, 2019Opened in April 2019. Poured directly into glass without aeration to preserve the fruit flavors. Tannin levels were low.
Thin viscosity. Faint bouquet so maybe orange rind and cherries?
Strong flavors of cherry and black berries. Tastes sweet even though it's dry. Slight black pepper notes afterwards but not strongly spicy. Pretty darn good bottle. Definitely worth buying again.
