2009 Fugue de Nenin Pomerol - ripe and lush black fruits, with textures of dark cocoa powder, prunes, and earth. Medium bodied, medium acid, moderate finish and very balanced. Drink now over the next 3 to 5 years if you like ripeness and coffee notes. Hold for 10 years if you want more oxidation and mushroom. Showing very well right now, decant for two hours.

Already Soft & elegant ripe plum, black cherries, cherries, strawberries and dry soft fine earth.

Such an intriguing nose - plum compote, smoke, herbs. Candied fruit on the palate, a very attractive wine if not a bit hot.

Nice Bordeaux - Buttery on front, dry on back.

Very dark, herbal complexities and a fairly hot overall aspect.

Good complexity in this 2009 vintage enjoyed with the menu Senteur at La Bastide St. Antoine in Grasse France.
