This is, far and away, my favorite Italian white. I can only find it in a couple of places where I live, but I am always happy when I do. It’s like the angel dancing on the head of a pin with its perfect balance of fruit and acidity with the richness of maple and vanilla underneath. It’s simply extraordinary and, though not inexpensive, worth every penny. An unvarnished delight.

Very nice ristorante. Gaja "lesser" label from Piedmonte. Somewhere between French and California style. Good but a little dry for my taste.
