Lovely gravelly note. Smoky, oaky, tobacco, cedar. Saint-Julien-like rich black fruit. Wonderful. Good sweet fruit, blackcurrant, good oak, meaty. Lovely oak on the finish, cedary, gravelly.

Appearance
Clear, ruby in color with a deep intensity.
Nose
Clean, with medium+ intensity of graphite, cassis, plum, and ripe summer blueberry aromas. I would say as generous as the nose is it is still developing.
Palate
Dry, with medium- acidity, medium+ tannin, medium+ alcohol and a full body. Medium+ intensity of creme d'cassis, graphite, and plum sauce. The flavors are on the dark side but the palate has lift and is not weighty. The finish is medium+ in length and the tannin shows to be a little grainy here.

Sharing a birthday dinner with family. Ringo Starr said he couldn’t make it. PNP and wasn’t that tight. Could have used some air but the nose and palate were just great.
