Apr 7th, 2018@Shawn R Can’t thank you enough my good friend. So well-made and nicely balanced. Right down the middle. One of my favorite Chardonnay’s out of California. Thanks again for sending me this gem!

Feb 27th, 2018Probably six months past prime. Dark gold color and oxidizing. Half Chard and half Sauternes. Butterscotch and toffee dominate. Deep wine with a long finish. I’m still trying to find those go to Chards as well as how long to age them. Seems like I drank the ‘16s too slow.

Dec 18th, 2022Light gold color. Nose of lemons, oak, and ample coconut. Same on the palate. I would decant for 30 minutes as it’s very restrained. Good balance between acidity and creaminess. Medium finish. If this was dialed up 2-3x’s on flavor and depth it would be awesome. Similar to the Matthiasson Linda Vista Chard. Upgraded 1pt. after 45 mins as the air and temp is helping.

Feb 27th, 2022Always love Gargiulo wines! This one probably needs some age though. Very vibrant and crisp, but not overly deep. Citrus flavors dominate with a medium finish. I enjoyed it, but probably on the lower side of QPR at $65.
