Love me some Gargiulo! Never really had their Merlot before last night. It was more fruit forward than expected, and had more spice than smoothness. Overall not bad seeing I'm not a huge Merlot fan! Did go nice with burgers and dogs on the grill with great friends!!

Black cherry and tobacco aromas set the stage for a classic Oakville Cabernet. Excellent tastes of dark fruit and the right balance of acidity and silky tannins make this a wine that is drinkable now but also very age worthy.
