Beautifully simple, like a Montepulciano should be. Had it with Marchiagianni sausage polenta. Fittingly, it was fabulous. This is a wine I could see my Nono drinking out of those small juice glasses in the wine cellar, while slicing thin chards off the leg of prosciutto hanging there. Memories.
