One of the greatest wine values, the critics have under-rated this if they are saying 7.8. This is a very suave even elegant wine, with impeccable balance. Easy to drink now, but certainly a few more years in the cellar would bring out the wine's cut and aromatics. This is the 2010 Vajra Nebbiolo.

Decent nose of smoke, tea leaves, and slightly tarry cherries, but not enough fruit on the palate to balance out the tannins.
