1st wine of Thanksgiving. Vintage 2008. Starting strong, and my notes will be brief here. It could be decanted but we are going to drink it slowly. Big berry, round, decent tannin levels, some earthy notes of mushroom, tar, and vanilla. Everyone ought to have some Gemstone in their collection. They build classic Napa Cabs.
