Wet leaves, slate, herbal medicine and plum on the nose. Tastes of olive and slightly raisin-y black tea. Lots of herbs and spice coming though with very little fruit. It's on the drier side with medium acid and firm tannins. The more you drink the more cooked plums and the black fruit start to appear.

Ripe juicy and more new world-ish. Still has some rustic earthiness that bring a it back to old world though. A good summer red when chilled.
