Primofiore Veneto Corvina Blend

Rich and elegant, strawberry compote, leather, heavy iodine.

Less enamored than prior occasions. Red fruits, jammy/baked notes. Prob didn’t give enough time to open up. Starting night with a different corked wine didn’t help either. With Loafers.

2016 vintage:
“Primo Fiore”. ….first flower…..first wine to be released in the vintage.
50% corvina and corvinone and 50 % Cab Sauv and Cab Franc

Smooth, complex, long finish.

Love this stuff. Fruit, full body, good acid. Had with Loafers pizza again.
