Vanilla, blackberry, and graphite nose. Tangy acidity. Forest floor, blackberry, plum, cinnamon flavors. Beautiful acidity. Finishes with black cherries, red hots, and a woody note that I can't place. Maybe sage?

Overall a good glass of wine. A bit too tart. 2012 vintage.

2012, Gothic Wine, Nevermore Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley. Very dark purple ruby in color. Primarily black fruit and a little strawberry. Lots of cedar, sandalwood, pepper and cola. Just a little hot on the finish. This was very old world but atypical for a Pinot: dark color and black fruit. Still enjoyable.

Not a bad value. But pretty one-dimensional for my liking.

Bright fruits, earthy and savory. Balanced acidity. Ballsy effort, great result. Oregon Pinot at its finest. Excellent wine for the price.

A little clunky maybe too early but paired well with grilled salmon eggplant and tomatoes
