Etna Rosato Nerello Mascalese

Dry, high acid, and minerally. My favorite kind of rose.

Fresh off the boat. Taut and lean at first. Bright red fruits pop out with lively mineral and acid. Will benefit with some bottle age but very lively now.

Dried cranberry, geranium, sand, bark, such grippy tannins but so smooth too, light hint of vanilla and a bit is spice. Long finish.

White has Verve and acidity with green bananas,salty nutshell, aged lemon. Red is ripe strawberry, oregano, lava rock, rose. Tannins make a big wine

Flavors more like a white wine, but it’s lively and mineral heavy; I’m not complaining.

Underripe nectarines, strawberries, flowers. Juicy , mouthwatering acidity with grapefruit and underripe stonefruit. Dangerously gulpable and delicious.

Good! A little acidic but still refreshing on a hot day.

2019 : Really dry with some tanins

Amber almost golden hue. Citrus, berries and smoke jump from the glass.
This is still wound tightly with incredible tension on the palate. Juicy, bright and crushable.
