I love pretty much anything from Mt. Etna. This is minerals, rose, cherry, and spiced woodbox with a bit of herbs. Yum. So jammy — a month ago
From 110 year old ungrafted vines. Extremely elegant and soft despite the 15.5 alcohol. Medium body, concentrated black and red fruit, high minerality and salty. Beautiful nose and long burn. Absolutely delicious, Burgundian. — 12 days ago
2022 vintage lovely. Peppery salty earthy tanniny — 14 days ago
Foxcraft Sicilian tasting, bought case. Good for price point. Needs food. — a month ago
This has all the traits that make Etna Reds so attractive. Medium bodied , red fruited with pronounced minerality. Vines planted on the pure Ellittico lava flow terroir. Predominantly Nerello Mascalese. As many tasters previously have said of Etna Rosso, a hypothetical blend of Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir. I will leave my last bottle for a couple of years. — 2 months ago
Black fruits. Mid body. Juicy. Pietradolce etna rosato 21 @1580, Jess - V, 250311 — 13 days ago
100% Nerello Mascalese. Light garnet (see through) color. Intensely smoky at first sniff that quickly blows off. Additional aromas of red berries, dried rose petals and orange zest. Flavors of strawberry, raspberry, baking spices, fresh herbs and ginger. Noticeable mineral note on the long finish. Crisp acidity, low tannins and medium-minus body. Round and juicy. — 20 days ago
No notes—height of elegance and class, incredibly impressive Etna — 2 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Made with the local grape Carricante, pale to medium lemon color with aromas of stone fruit, citrus and honey floral notes. On the palate flavors of ripe apple and pear with slight citrus and nutty notes. Good acidity, balance and structure, medium+ finish ending with salty mineral nutty character. Very Nice! — 15 days ago
