Part of the pre GCM collection...2003 vtg in Feb '20. How am I the first person to rate this wine????? Pieter may have given this to me in SA 2008??? Big, bold, rich, dark fruit fwd, 15% alc not apparent on the nose but it drinks like its def not light on its feet. It shows some age in its barely baked va fresh versions of its fruit but otherwise theres not much else tertiary going on here. Like most of the pre gcm wines, I wasn't confident how it would drink but this is one I wish I could have shared!
