Oct 30th, 2022Love the spice level here. Potpourri in the nose, silk and elegance in the mouthfeel. Soft tannins wrap the blue and red fruit very nicely. 3 year old barrels or more used on this. No new oak.

Jan 12th, 2022Blueberries, ripe red fruits, black olive, pepper, smoked meat. Medium acidity, med+ tannins and a long finish. Much bigger and in your face than lagniappe.

Sep 16th, 2018GW tasting 10/25/16. Coldest site barely works for Syrah. Nose had more hints of leaves and cloth. Still savory. Body that's firm and savory and finish is long and complex.
