Big improvement over 2013. Maybe old skool with plenty of oak but when I'm in the mood it hits the spot. Big, ripe dark fruits super fine tannin that builds, long finish.

Blend of dark dry red and blue fruits of cranberry, cherry and marionberry. Distinct tannins on the finish. Limited depth. Drank more like a Syrah than a hot climate Shiraz.

Enjoyed a lot more on the second tasting. Paired beautifully with perfectly grilled lamb chops on the BBQ. Blackberry, fennel, spice and a velvety finish.
