Maybe I’m adversely influenced by the name, but sage notes are everywhere, in a good way. Throwing lots of sediment in the glass, but overall, this is still in its prime - fruit-forward with moderate tannins. Mature black fruits combine with soft acidity. The only fault line is that this comes across with a little too much wood treatment. Consume these now.
