Wife’s favorite wine of the night. I’ve written about this 10 several time & nothing has changed. Many great years in front of it.

Very nice. Medium body and weight. Dark fruit and dried herbs. Could use a few more years to soften the tannins.

2010 Greer Cabernet Sauvignon from Rutherford, Napa Valley. 4 hour decant, deep crimson hued, this wine has a killer explosive nose of dark fruits, cinnamon, baking spices, menthol and flint. Chocolate covered cherries, cocoa and espresso mid palate, with a touch of nutmeg. Moderate trademark Rutherford dusty tannins in just the right proportion. Dense and concentrated. Beautifully layered with a silky mouth feel, and a lingering finish. In this age of $400-$500+ Napa Cabs, this wine takes a back seat to none of them. I’m a fan. You da man Rob Greer!

Super dark fruit and spice, but took a ton of air to get there. Have to decant 6+ hours. This was slow- O for 6 hours, but didn’t hit its stride for a few more hours.

Had to open one of these to see what all of the fuss is about. Small production & very allocated. Rich & densely structured with blue & blackberry fruits, lots of vanilla & spice, good balance & well made for fans of rich Cali cabs.

10' Greer Cabernet. Very close to a pop & pour. Color- Dark ruby red. The nose is explosive. No rough edges. No Rutherford dust!!!! Layers of dense black fruits. Light acidity, moderate tannins. Long finish. It's a very special wine. Drinking wonderfully now. Don't know if it will get much better? Many great "prime years" in front of it.

Winner, winner chicken nugget dinner. This is a must for your cellar! Highly recommend it. GET SOME OF THIS! Edit- Kristen "This is the best bottle of wine I've had in months"

An absolute beauty with an almost "Old World coolness" to it.
I was blind guessing this as a restrained and less ripe vintage of Araujo (which is one of my favorite Napa wineries).
GREAT wine!
