Raspberry, red fruit on the nose. Cherry on the fore palate, followed by hints of candied plums and a long, smooth finish of soft tannins & oak. (French onion soup, Bacon wrapped fillet mignon, sautéed zucchini and mushrooms, triple berry crisp),

We had the 2012 Vintage on 7/15/22. Just not a good bottle. While there were tastes of plum, leather and tobacco, there was a mustiness that suggested either a bad bottle or wine on the decline. I have had better from Grgich Hills.

Sep 20th, 2020We had the 2012 Vintage on 9/18-19/20. This is a well balanced, fruit forward, full bodied, Napa floor Cab. Tastes of blackberry, plum, black cherry. The tannins were smoothed out. A pretty good wine for the price. There are just so many other choices.
