2009 vintage. Whoa! Was not expecting this to be holding together, but a pleasant surprise. Lemon custard, baked apple, well integrated sweet/spicy oak, and a nice mineral verve. Could have mistaken it to be a Chassagne from a warmer year. Haven't had a Groth Chard in a while, but it was great to revisit it in a sweet spot. Yum!
