Rather soily on the nose, black/dried plum, anise, cacao, Mexican mole sauce, a little leather jacket. Pretty oak complements. Rounded, silky and balanced.

Nice nose of pencil shavings and dark fruit, slightly vegetal. The fruit has been overtaken by the alcohol however, and it was showing in fairly unbalanced manner. At House of Prime Rib in SF.
