Inaugural vintage, was undrinkably tight on release, now still “young” but giving a bit of beautiful profile, if you look.

Similar to my previous bottle 2 yrs prior. Fruit holding up well. Less smoke / leather than I recalled.

Feb 13th, 2016Final bottle and damn was it great. Walks the fine line of dark brooding fruit, savage meatiness, spicy white pepper and earth. Proves you don't have to spend 100+ to get a great wine.
