Eighteen Seventy-Three Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Classy and not too punchy at all with oak. Sophisticated with enough layers to drink more. Will definitely wait another year to try it again.

This needed a good hour+ decant but it opened brilliantly. Loads of structure and polish.

Delicious and approachable. Well made though little complexity. Good Friday night partner to flank steak.

Delicious cab — we enjoyed it with a spicy beef dish and it held up very well. Smooth, strong, with lots of ripe fruit.

Had vertical tasting of 2012 and 2013. Great cab. 2012 drinks well now. 2013 needs more time

Trying this nearly a year later, elegance, rich tannin and oak is more balanced. Pepper notes on the nose with a lush finish. Love this now!

The best Hall 'bang for your buck' Cabernet in my opinion. It comes with the unique Hall taste (hints of licorice my unsophisticated palate says) that I enjoy. Still young but drinking well.

Favorite red from the vineyard.

Cherry, strawberry, light body, full flavor.
