My first nice ($30+) bottle of pinot noir. Nothing short of transcendent. Blueberry and black cherry, fabulously balanced through the mid-palate, finishing on something like ocean spray. I was still tasting it a minute after the first sip. Shared the bottle with Neal, Robyn and Erin, paired chicken parmesan and romaine salad. The best meal of 2019.

Sonoma Pinot at it’s very best. Fruit comes from 2 coastal vineyards which produces the mouth watering acidity to hold all of the complexity and concentrated fruit together. Black cherries, blackberry, and spice with a bit of wet earth. It’s moderate to full-bodied with a long, layered finish. Beautiful example of Sonoma Pinot. 2015 vintage on July 1, 2019
