Basically a lightened up Syrah. Very enjoyable and drinkable. 🙂

Inky dark, satisfying. Oddly low on fruit, but still good. Well worth the $17.

Bottled By Hecht & Bannier, F13100, F11160
70 Syrah
20 Grenache
10 Carignan
Southern France, from Spain to the Rhône River and along the Mediterranean Sea finds the Languedoc Roussillon the oldest vineyards of the country.
24 month barrel maturation in traditional 600 liter ‘demi-muids’ barrels of Languedoc.
Consider we always balance the typical regional concentration’s power and finesse; whether producing Languedoc, Minervois, Saint-Chinian, Faugeres, Cotes du Roussillon Villages, or Bandol.

Unctuous, Sensual, Intense Berries:
Dominated by Rich, Peppery Syrah, exceptional Softness, Silky fruitiness due to Grenache.
