I’ll echo other thoughts here and state that this got quite a bit better over the lifetime it was open. For me, it’s been open two weeks and it is doing very well at the moment. Aromtically, there is luxardo cherries spread over roasted graham cracker with blackberry compote. Obvious notes of sherry too. The palate gives some nutty and savory notes...dark cocoa dusted raisins and cherry liqueur finish. While not top shelf, for around $20, you’re hard pressed to find a better “port” in Cali.
