A lot here. Grilled nuts and honey on the nose. Also some kind of spice - fenugreek?- green sea salt, if that makes any sense. A little chewy, but with green/parsley/lime flavors I typically associate with Chablis. Smells soft on opening, but it's got great verve. Intellectually stimulating wine

Feb 2nd, 2017Nice premier cru from St Aubin with just over 10 years age. Was honestly hoping for a bit more overall but this was an excellent pairing with some blackened sea bass. Not okay at all, definite green minerality characteristic that is hard for me to describe. Medium minus acid and the finish isn’t quite all encompassing. But still a nice wine.
