More lush than expected. Honey, slate and lemon rounded on the palate (in that order). Medium plus acidity. This single vineyard vintage really is exemplary. 12.5% ABV. Paired with curried coconut shrimp and collard greens.

Honey, gardenia and peach nose. Slightly sweet, high acid, somewhat viscous palate due to sugar. Manages to maintain balance with some minerality/salinity. Ripe and refreshing at the same time.

Passable Riesling, equivalent to a German $20 Kabinett, but at more than twice the price. Another example of how New York State wine remains in a sorry state and is not worth drinking. Some nice white fruit flavors, complex in style, followed by a sickeningly sweet aftertaste showing the poor wine-making in the Finger Lakes. At $45, not worth buying.

Lush and delicious fruit with apples, honeysuckle, and tangerines. Well balanced by bright acidity, and hints of spice and stony minerality.

Favorite of the three single vineyards I tasted: picture compressed shelf of shale, crunchy layers of texture & fruit, crackling acid. Finger Lakes grosses gewächs.
