You can rarely be disappointed by a HJW wine. This late-released 2014 riesling is a mind blower. As a wine with grapes selected from their three vineyards, the complexity and richness are incredible compares to the other HJW rieslings. Yet this wine retains the consistent balance, delicacy and roundness as always. White flower, peach and citrus on the nose. Perfectly balanced dryness(sweetness) and acidity(medium-) on the palate. Great depth with minerality bursting on all dimensions. It is powerful, but has a soft touch, which is the HJW style IMHO.

Easily one of the best Rieslings I've had and one of the best in the Finger Lakes. Not too expensive either. Almost seems a little like an Alsatian Gewürztraminer.

Really really good!! Good balance of tartness and sweetness. Crisp. Apples, Pineapple, and perfume throughout. Impressive!

Apples, lemon, and flowers. Medium+ body and high acidity. Wiemer delicious and a bargain as always.
