Fruity, spicy, coats the tongue nicely. A beauty to pair with roasted meats and charcuterie. A definite repurchase from color de vino.

Ribera del Duero seems to produce much better tempranillos for drinking younger. I had this simply with gazpacho, shrimp cocktail, and fresh pesto pasta.

Oak dominates the nose at first, but that began to subside about 45 minutes from opening, yielding bright raspberry, tobacco, and earth notes. Good acidity, silky texture, and a long, fruity finish.

Nice Spanish wine done in a modern style. Went well with the charcuterie plate we ordered. I liked the Monastrell we tasted first better, but George liked this one so I went along with sharing a
bottle.

$16.95 at SD Wine Co. Oakey and earthy with some nice spice on the finish. I like it!
