Lots of big tannins, but pleasant. Delightful, inky, big fruit bouquet without too much sweetness. Needs some time to open in the glass or decanter - complex on palette , balanced with anise and floral. Great core of licorice wild dark blueberry, tarry, but not stringent, cassis. Big & Bold. Lovely. Would buy again and lay down longer - 5 more years would be perfect. Love to find around $45

2013 opened March 2018. Ready to drink. Outstanding mix with minimum tannins and deep dark aroma of black cherry, coffee, and subtle chocolate. Smooth as can be with long legs. Used to also make sauce for rib eye with shallots and mushroom. What a combo!!!! Highly recommended, you will love. I will need to find retailer.
