77% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Petite Sirah. On the nose we have very prominent dark fruit, plum, raisins, currant, and smoke. On the palate I am tasting a sweet prune, tobacco leaf, currant, and spice. There are silky tannins but pronounced. Good length with good balance. Could use a few more years of age, like 2-3 to smooth out the tannins just a bit more. All in all a nice bottle.
