I Vigneri di Salvo Foti
Etna Rosso Nerello Mascalese Nerello Cappuccio
Lovely black fruit and volcanic minerality, and lithe enough to pair perfectly with whole fried sea bass over couscous with spicy tomato sauce.

Jan 23rd, 2017As soon as you put your nose in the glass you know you're in for a treat. A wine of uncommon purity. Expansive nose with a whiff of sulfides and that smoky-rocky Etna scent, mingled with herbs, orange peel, and fruit. The palate is black cherry so ripe it's fit to burst on the tree, with a fullness that remains completely in focus. Long, with a furry Etna tannins finish. Outstanding.
