Mar 26th, 2025Vintage 2015 | small domaine from Chianti that makes this cuvée Ares from 100% Merlot. Biological. Fermentation in barrel and 24 months barrel aging. It’s been a while since a wine impressed me like this one: dark colour, chic and rich smell with vanilla and red fruit (cassis and blackberry). Diam corked. Needed three hours in decanter to soften the tannins. Beautiful ‘trouvaille’.
