Gorgeously supple and open fruit. Not a barnstormer of a vintage but all is very open knit and lush without excessive bite from alcohol. Very good.

This is simply fantastic. In the early going it displays laser-like focus and precision with impeccably clean contours and silky, creamy elegance on the palate. Not an ounce of fat on this wine. Tart cherry and raspberry flavors play wonderfully with subtle spice, tobacco, mint and orange rind character. Truly fine Brunello such as this is nearly impossible to put down despite the young tannin. This is going to be a stunning wine with more bottle development which I cannot wait to revisit.
