Bright fruit with black cherry, strawberry and plum fruit wrapped with supple notes of thyme, mint and a subtle mineral touch. Nose is far fresher than the vintage conditions would suggest. Rich and full palate with dark red fruits, spice and dried herds. The tannins are silky and round. It is missing a touch of Sangiovese austerity but a delight to drink. Finish is full of ripe raspberry fruit and herbs. My last bottle but this is in a lovely zone for maximum enjoyment.
