A remarkable wine; So clean, yet layered and evolving in the glass. A dense and pure fruit concentration, with a vibrant zing to it. A winning palate where the flavor intensity and the dense mid palate is taking care of the lively acidity. All components are merging into a long and compelling finish that will persuade any infidels. Being approachable with its friendly tannins, I can truly see the aging potential in this wine thanks to the concentration and the lively acidity. Day 2 and the fruit profile is rounder and more red tinged.

This very well could be the finest expression of Barbera that I've been lucky enough to taste. Impeccably balanced with dark plummy fruit, bright acid & silky tannins. More power in the nose than the palate. Served from a magnum. Excellent.
