Pale golden straw. Somewhat closed nose - some yellow apple. Ripe and rich apple and nectarines (?), slight honey note, some light oak notes. Not a lot of acidity. Almost like a northern Rhône ?

Leaning towards straw in color, the warm 2018 vintage shines through here. Expressing stone and tropical fruit such as ripe peach and apricot, pineapple, mango and melon, the nose also reveals oak, malo and lees driven characteristics such as vanilla, butter and pastry. Full bodied, creamy textured and with a firm acidity, this powerhouse old world Chardonnay should drink well for another decade.
