Sweet red cherries, hibiscus, dried flowers, sous bois, minerals and exotic spices. There is layered complexity and terrific focus. Lifted, harmonious and persistent finish. Beautiful. 07 red Burgundy drinking so well right now!

From wine list at Alinea. Earthy nose with notes of ripe black cherry, mocha, coffee.
Rich and chewy, got more expressive with air. Really nice. Will improve with more age.

Always elegant and lush. 07's drinking great right now at that 10 yr mark. Drink up though as the acidity is fading.
