Les Fuées Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Awesome. Perfectly mature. Grand cru level burg. Had the Amoureusena couplemof@month ago and this is not far off at all.

This was one of the stars of the night after La Paulee tasting

Tawny and reddish. Translucent. Pure Pinot fruit nose but with a rustic, masculine type character. Rhubarb, raspberry, gravel and spice notes. In the mouth it's a great balance of ripe fruit, mostly resolved tannin and structure. Serious finish. A nice sweetness develops with a few hours of air. Can get better with more age I think but good now.

I love 01 Burgundy. I love Fred.

In memory of our Cat Nutmeg, may she rest in peace.... She will never be forgotten.

Really good. Thought it was a Grand Cru.
