Underperformed. Chunky with some ginger viscosity but the acid felt lacking until just before we'd polished the bottle off. Maybe we rushed.

Absolutely classic champagne. From a 2008 base. For less than £40, this is a stunner.

Delicate and nuanced. Not too oxidative as others sometimes assert. Very good, though the pricing (at least at this stage) is puzzling to me.
