Tight and compact...brooding. Deep violet hues. With a little time in the glass this wine finally opens up with scents of black raspberry, dried herbs, and a touch of black pepper. Rich, yet softly textured on the pallet. Right now now it seems to be caught between old/new world styles and needs a few years to make up its mind.
