Laser beam, high acid, pushy tart fruit on the front end. Needs warmth and air to mellow it out. After a decant it really emerged. Crisp orchard fruits, meyer lemon, crushed oyster shell, kelp, tarragon, struck flint, damp wild mushrooms. So fresh, literally tastes like it was put in the bottle yesterday, not 6 years ago. I love the acid, my molars do not.

Jun 15th, 2023This is a good wine, but not a great one. A tad too much wood for my palate. A lot of acidity. The 2017 Alain Geoffroy Chablis 1er Beauroy is a much better wine which we had a few days ago.

May 6th, 2022Decent, not great. I was hoping for more. When young this had searing acidity. The acids have mellowed, but seems to lack fruit.

Apr 6th, 2022This is a more restrained, austere style of Chablis. Very mineral and saline. Enjoyed with deconstructed California rolls.
